Especially in the wake of storms that bring down our region’s giant oaks C&A’s Arborist Christian is often asked if those felled trees can be repurposed.

Well Now they can!

We are thrilled to announce that C & A Arborists has installed a brand new onsite lumber mill. In partnership with Big Paw Wood Shop your logs (or logs from our inventory) can be cut into custom dimensional lumber, and transformed into bespoke furniture and timber frame structures.

Projects can include benches, dining and picnic tables, gazebos, shelves, desks, arbors, doors, and so much more.

This model of hyper-local, vertically-integrated operation creates a direct path for Michiana urban timber to be recycled back into our local community via local craftspeople.
